Yesterday, Janine & I went out to some of the beaches in Wollongong; the scenery in the area is simply gorgeous & breath taking along the coast. I found myself again staring out into the great blue ocean, the odd container ship out on the horizon. While Janine was brave & went out for a swim, I was content to dip my feet in & stoop looking for sea shells. I came away with a great haul & a bit of sand to boot! I also took some pictures of, but did not touch the blue bottle jellies that washed up on the beach, there wasn't many but just a few of those, they're very odd looking, but they sting like crazy, so I didn't take the chance to meet one up close & personally. For dinner last night, we went out to the Hog's Breath restaurant, we both had steak; I'd been craving one for awhile, so when I finally had one, it was just delish!
Today, Janine & I met up with an American friend, Lucy, travelling in Australia for three weeks, & then we were off to Katoomba to see the Three Sisters area, another very beautiful, picturesque lookout area with incredibly beautiful scenery. Later, we went to a local pub for lunch. We also took a stroll down the local "main drag" area, I of course, couldn't resist buying a couple of doo dads, I've come to appreciate a good bargain!
With two full days left, I'm not sure what else I'll be doing, other than reorganizing (again!) my suitcase(s) before I come home, but I just know I'll be making the most of it.
